Tours

Located in the heart of Cognac, The Meukow House welcomes visitors from near and far into their distinctive universe founded on family spirit. Our visitor circuit will allow you to discover all aspects of the Meukow brand and the people who built it.

A distinctive architecture

Thanks to the acquisition of the last adjoining building in 2012, Michel Coste was able to reconstitute the architectural unity of the site, in typical 19th century style. The “Espace Guyenne” now hosts the visitor welcome area as well as the Meukow store. Determined to reinforce the impact of the Meukow brand, Michel Coste searched for a strong symbol that would evoke the quality of their; cognacs whilst distinguishing them from other brands. In 1993, he created what was to become the brand’s icon: “Le Félin”, a bottle decorated with a panther, a superb creature that symbolises strength, elegance and suppleness, the intrinsic values of Meukow cognacs.
